Salon Eskada Helps Others

Salon Eskada will help in whatever way they can for various charities by donating money raised from in-salon raffles. Gift certificates and baskets are donated to raise money for school fairs, Brock University events, the Evangelista/Adams Breast Cancer Fund, The Heart and Stroke Foundation, September 11th Victims, Wellspring Niagara and the Alzheimer’s Society, just to name a few.

In April 2004, six hair salons participated in a first ever charity event of its kind for the Niagara Region, which was the brainchild of Lori and Salon Eskada. This event was Hollywood; a hair show to raise money for Look Good Feel Better. It was a spectacular and successful show that raised $8,250 for Look Good Feel Better and $2,400 for Wellspring.

Eskada also periodically runs food drives for Community Care and this past fall the staff wore jeans in exchange for a weekly donated item (examples include: peanut butter, toothpaste and socks). We have enlisted the help of family, friends and clients to ensure each year our charitable efforts are successful and this year was no exception.
